Chairman & Founder

Grew up in a family of educators in Los Angeles CA. Attended Claremont Men’s College and University of Southern California majoring in Economics and Entrepreneurial Science. An entrepreneur who has owned multiple businesses in the Fitness, Financial Services and Consulting Industries in both Los Angeles and the Chicagoland areas. Additionally, has held multiple Senior Executive level positions in the afore mentioned industries.

A single father who raised a beautiful 27-year-old daughter predominantly on his own. Currently resides in Jacksonville, FL. He attends the Church of 1122 and spends as much of his free time on the water boating and many other Ocean related activities. Is active in the Cancer community being a Stage 4 Metastatic Prostate and Bone Cancer survivor. A Life and Cancer Warrior finishing his first literary work detailing his Cancer journey and recovery.

Vice Chairman

Belgian born to a financial executive, Ellen spent her childhood living in the Middle East and South Africa and speaks English/French fluently and has traveled to 30 plus countries worldwide. After high school, she moved to London to attend college for five years after which she traveled to Florida. Following college, she married and settled in Gainesville, Florida where she raised her 2 children and started her decades long award-winning sales career. Ellen has established herself as a rock-solid sales agent with a network spanning the country.

Now, Ellen is ready to embark on the next chapter in her career putting her extensive network and experience to work as your real estate agent through Berkshire Hathaway. Ellen may be a transplant but after living in NE Florida for 20 years she has the heart of a native. Ellen loves the sunshine and when she isn't hard at work you can find her at one of North Florida's beaches hunting for sharks teeth or relaxing on her boat at one of the many local springs.

Ellen is also an experienced investor in real estate having bought and sold many of her own properties. Ellen is not just a well-traveled, well connected over achiever, she is also an amazing person with a warm and inviting personality who is always wearing a smile. She has an integrity of steel and the resolve to overcome any adversity.

Melissa Swymer brings over 30 years of experience in health and wellness, inspiring others to live with balance, strength, and vitality. She has also served as a dedicated trainer with K9s For Warriors, preparing service dogs that transform the lives of veterans. Deeply committed to family and community, Melissa treasures time with her grandchildren and finds joy at the beach, traveling, and serving those in need.

Together, Rob and Melissa share a passion for leadership, resilience, service, and family, and are proud to serve on the board to help those single parents that are going through cancer treatment, giving them both financial and emotional support so they can not just survive, but thrive.

Director of Events and Activities

Daniel and Colleen have been married since 1997 after having met at the University of South Florida during their college years. They have 4 amazing children. They are members of St John Paul II Catholic church in Nocatee where God and faith lead them daily.

Daniel is the Founder and President of Sheehan Dealer Services, an automotive company founded in 2021, providing products and services to maximize dealership profits. Daniel brings over 30 years of leadership and expertise to his dealer partners. Daniel previously worked for the JM&A Group for over 22 years, a subsidiary of JM Family Enterprises.

Colleen grew up in central Florida and graduated from Lakeland High School, before attending USF. Colleen met Rob Chumbook at the golf/tennis fundraiser in 2024 and was immediately drawn to what the foundation is providing to those in need. Rob’s story and the foundation resonated with her, and she felt compelled to give back. Colleen now serves as the Director of Events and Activities.

CFO | Treasurer

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri by a single mother, Dana moved to Jacksonville, Florida and obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Florida. Dana began working in public accounting upon graduation, obtaining her CPA in 2016. Dana has worked with a variety of industries over the last 17 years, specializing in not-for-profit assurance, tax and accounting services.

 Upon meeting Rob Chumbook and hearing his story and the creation of Lone Warrior Foundation, the mission resonated with her. Having had two close relatives diagnosed with and battle cancer as single parents, including her mother. Dana knew she wanted to be apart of the Lone Warrior Foundation and help support this organization in being the support system needed by single parent families fighting their own battles with cancer. Dana now fills the CFO/treasurer role for the Lone Warrior Foundation, uniting her experience and skills with her personal desire to serve others.

Director of Technology, Marketing, & Major Events

Courtney Kallfelz is a small business website designer, SEO expert, social media marketing strategist, and military spouse with a passion for helping mission-driven organizations grow their digital presence. As the owner of CourtneyKCo LLC since 2020, she has built and optimized websites for over 25 businesses, blending clean design with strategic content and search engine performance.

Now serving as the Director of Marketing, Technology, and Major Events (pro-bono) for the Lone Warrior Foundation, Courtney is leading the charge to elevate the foundation’s online visibility, strengthen its digital tools, and build lasting connections with sponsors and supporters. Her goal is to help LWF expand its reach, clarify its message, and bring meaningful impact to even more single parents battling cancer.
